E-charging infrastructure for business customers

E-charging infrastructure for business customers Post Company Cars and BKW sign cooperation agreement

With its 76 dedicated employees, Post Company Cars is Swiss Post’s internal fleet service provider with over 18,000 vehicles, and manages the largest e-vehicle fleet in Switzerland. Many business customers are also benefiting from this extensive expertise. CompCar currently manages 7,100 vehicles in the steadily growing third-party market.

The share of e-vehicles within vehicle fleets is constantly growing. CompCar promotes sustainable mobility and offers fleet management solutions from a single provider to help customers successfully switch to e-mobility. For this reason, CompCar is launching its new “e-charging solution” service for fleet management customers this summer. This includes consulting, planning and installation of a charging infrastructure, access to a charging network throughout Switzerland, as well as monthly billing for charging and services per vehicle.

After a call for tenders, BKW was found to be the most suitable partner for the charging infrastructure. The cooperation agreement was signed with CompCar on 25 April 2022. “We are very pleased to be able to offer our customers real added value thanks to the strategic partnership with BKW” says Bruno Fankhauser, Head of Operations and Member of the Executive Board.
