Swiss Post intends to fully electrify its letter and parcel delivery fleet by 2030. It intends to do the same for all public passenger transport (i.e. all Postbuses) by 2040. The new InnoPodcast from Espace Lab – Swiss Post’s innovation lab – has an interview with Nigel Storny, CEO of Post Company Cars Ltd. In total, Post Company Cars manages more than 25,000 vehicles – from small motorcycles to articulated trucks. The lion’s share (i.e. around 18,300 vehicles) is made up of Swiss Post vehicles. The company is Switzerland’s largest independent fleet manager, a leader in mobility solutions with long-standing expertise in e-mobility. Within Swiss Post, it has driven the expansion of the e-vehicle fleet. All the approximately 6,100 DXP vehicles and a further 755 delivery and passenger vehicles have already been electrified. By the end of the year, there will be 300 more electric vehicles.
